INFO:

Cellphones work by communicating with mobile Base Stations, often just a mile or two apart. The phone's technology 'knows' where the best Base Stations are, and tunes into the best 3 or 4 to give you a clear call. As you walk or drive around, the cellphone & Base Station 'talk' to each other, and warn when a signal begins to weaken. the phone will then 'hand over' to another Base Station, which it has already been 'whispering' to as it appears ahead.

This marvelllous technology means, in theory, that you never need to lose a call!

There is a downside: Because of this, each network, eg Orange, knows where your phone is, usually within 10 meters or less at any time of the day, or night... it has to to provide you with 'mobile' service.

This location information is available whenever your cellphone is on, even if it's in your pocket out of use.

Since 9/1/09, this information is collected, & stored by the government.

Ever feel you're being watched??
LATEST FROM THE UK...

The UK Parliament is attempting to rush thru legislation which means that Coroner's inquests can be held in secret - with no jury, press or court officials present.

The official reason given is that secret inquests 'may be necessary to protect national security'. However, after being totally embarrassed by the Jean-Charles de Menezes fiasco, in which the government leant very heavily on the Coroner to ensure the police (who obviously murdered him) were not officially blamed.

Unfortunately - the plot backfired and the government were made to look an international laughing stock when the press & jurors reported the fact that an 'unlawful killing' verdict had actually been barred by the Coroner, restricting the jury's options in reaching a meaningful verdict.

Clearly, had the inquest have been conducted in secret, none of this would have come out, the police would have gotten away with murder & a massive cover up, and the government would have looked blameless.

Ever began to think conspiracy?
