Britain is clearly no longer great. It seems almost patronising to remind readers of that basic, evident and indisputable fact. With out economy falling faster than a cormorant to water, the currency, the once-strong pound set to become virtually worthless, and with community cohesion and integration being both as mythical as a unicorn's footprints, Britain is a failing state.
We hear that taxes are cut to stimulate the economy - but then EVERY economist tells us soon after the next election (surprise!) - VAT may well have to rise to 25%, and income tax will rise to never-before seen levels; with many people likely to be thousands of pounds worse off, with many more entering the poverty zone and unable to afford the essentials.
With successive governments massaging figures and statistics to show and 'prove' whatever they want, British citizens have been repeatedly lied to, mis-led, treated as fools, confused & mentally twisted by governments at least as crooked as a car boot sale at a Mafia convention.
We hear that crime is down - yet more crimes are reported, and fewer are solved. We hear from out beloved Home Secretary, the ever-so-slippy Jacquie Smith, for example that gun & knife crime has fallen dramatically, in a week when 5 teens & young men are slaughtered; only to be told the following day that she was 'mistaken' - and there's actually been a rise. A 'mistake'.. Hmm! How about using the expression 'a blatant lie'? It's what this was!
We hear that there are more jobs than ever before, yet every day we read that thousands more people have been laid off, or made redundant. We then hear that some 90% of advertised vacancies went to non-UK EU workers, who then reduce wages by agreeing to work for peanuts.
Every week, we hear of more and more people released from jail after wrongly serving sentences. So many times, we discover that these people were simply set up by police more incompetent than Inspector Clouseau on laughing gas, but not nearly as funny. We hear of a totally innocent man murdered on a Tube by armed police, who then conspire and lie in court. When their lies are exposed, their Commander receives promotion.
The Coroner, charged with discovering the truth behind this murder, is so corrupt - so leaned on by the govenment - that he actually FORBIDS the Jury from blaming the police, even though this is what they decide is right, and all of the evidence from over 20 witnesses supports this finding. We then read of Colin Stagg - locked away for a horrific murder; on evidence totally conjured up by the police. He's since been released, and the police have been forced to admit their failings, and to apologize for incompetence & lying.
We hear of a DNA database - the perfect vehicle for fitting people up, and something unheard of in any so-called 'democracy'. Even communist Russia and other despot states have never forced innocent citizens to submit their DNA, yet in Britain, EVERY single person who is arrested - or even questioned by the police has their DNA taken - and kept, even if they aren't charged, or are found totally innocent. A recent European Court ruled this to be totally illegal, yet the DNA is still taken, and kept.
We hear of Councils mis-using the Prevention of Terrorism Act to spy on residents suspected of terrible crimes, like over-filling their dustbin, putting their bin bags out on the wrong day, or putting recycling into wrongly-colored sacks. We then hear of massive fines, whilst criminals walk away with slapped wrists and a severe letting off.
Then there's a deep-rooted culture of suspicion which has destroyed everything which was once good about Britain. We are watched and followed 24/7 by cameras, from the moment we leave our homes, as we walk down the street, as we journey to work, as we shop in town and whilst we do our jobs. Britain has more so-called security cameras than any other country, and we are the most watched people. Yet successive governments have admitted they have little impact on crime, and indeed move it to concentrate in other desperate areas.
We are all viewed as criminals - because it's felt that's what we could become. We're all viewed as perverts & pedophiles, because a very small number of weirdos actually are. We can't actually speak to children, we can never be with kids on our own, we can't even take photos in town, just in case. If we do - people are suspicious, and we're under scrutiny. We can't speak our minds - cuz if we do, we'll be breaking some law, or opening ourselves up to action, or suspicion, or other form of institutionalized attack.
Political correctness has grown to monumentous proportions, and Britain & its ways have become the laughing stock of the rest of the world. Weak people have even been fooled into accepting this, thinking political correctness is actually normal, even desirable.
Trust has gone. Too many weak-minded people have been conditioned by our failing society to view everyone, and everything with suspicion. We've become a nation of bullied, controlled automatons, manipulated and monitored by politically-correct spies & quizlings who watch & question our every move, and twist & misinterpret everything.
Britain is becoming a dangerous place to live. We're all in danger of becoming imprisoned in an ever-growing, all powerful police state where words & minds are subjected to exponentially increasing control and censorship.
Yet people are blind, and this path to destruction continues, unabated. Sadly, people will wake up & realize what's happened, but then it will probably be too late.
